Third Trimester is Here Already!

We've had a very busy couple of weeks leading up to the start of the third trimester! We headed to the shore for a very busy but relaxing Memorial Day weekend. Ryan found a new favorite hobby kayaking through the lagoon. I see us buying one in the near future... He also spent a lot of time bonding (and practicing) with Nola! Jay, Kellie, and Nola came down Saturday morning, and Carrie and Josh came Saturday evening to spend the weekend with us. We all had a blast laying out by the water. Although I did get in trouble with the doctor for being too tan! Oops. :) We found a baby pool that Nola got to test out for us and she LOVED it, so we know it will be great for the baby next year. It's crazy to think that next Memorial Day we will be at the shore with a baby of our own.

We had our 25 week doctor's appointment on Friday. She said the heartbeat sounds nice and strong and I'm measuring perfectly for a September 12th baby! Looks like my mom and dad won't need to cut their vacation short ;). I've been nice and swollen with the hot weather lately and the doc told me that's just something I get to look forward to for the whole summer. At least it gives me an excuse to put my feet up at the end of the work day! We head back to the doctor in 4 weeks.

Practice Makes Perfect

Well we finally registered at Babies R' Us and Buy Buy Baby! When we registered at Babies R' Us they gave us a free gift which included a newborn diaper. Since Ryan hasn't been around many babies we're trying to give him as much practice as possible with everything baby. So poor Bailey got the short end of this stick on this one...

She wasn't too happy about wearing a diaper, but it was very entertaining for us! I think from now on we'll stick to practicing with Madelyn and Nola. :)

Jen came over with a special present for Bailey. She must have known we would be torturing her! Here's Bailey in her "I'm the BIG Sister" t-shirt. She wears it all the time. It will be quite an adjustment for Bails when the baby comes. She's already showing signs of jealousy when other pets and babies are around. It should be interesting!

We split the weekend between West Chester and Montville for Mother's Day this year. Here are some pics from West Chester before we went out for a Girl's Night and Guy's Night. Notice how differently we dress for our nights out. :) It was nice to have everyone together...Matt home from his first year of college (I can't believe he's that old!), Dad home from Saudi (almost for good!), Meghan coming back from work in Miami (I definitely don't feel bad for her), and Ryan and I in from the good old Jerz. I'm sure Mom is ready to have her house back to normal!
