Ryan had Lily cracking up tonight so I ran to get the camera and record it. I missed a lot of the great giggles but there are still a lot of really good ones that I had to share!

Busy Busy
We have been keeping ourselves very busy here. We've been having lots of playdates at the clubhouse with Kiley, Sydney, Isabella, and Eva, and we've planned some outings like going to the mall and we're working on a night for all of us to hang out with the husbands too.
Lily and I spent a long weekend in West Chester with Grandmom while Ryan and Grandpa went to Atlanta for a business trip. It was a wonderful girls weekend! We watched the Eagles game with Aunt Meghan and then went to KOP on Monday for a serious shopping spree. Lily was fantastic at the mall. Born to be a shopper! She loved hanging out in her stroller and watching everyone walking around. She did not love the hour and half car ride home due to snow though. That wasn't too fun! While we were there Lily started a new trick. When she lays on her back she now grabs her toes! May seem small to everyone, but I love it! :)
When we got back it was time to get ready to celebrate my birthday! Yay :) Friday night I had a night out with my sister in the city. We went to an awesome Mexican restaurant. Of course Meghan told them it was my birthday and the maitre d' was upset that they didn't sing to me so he gave us free sniffers of tequila. It was horrible! After dinner we went to see Chelsea Handler at Carnegie Hall. She was hilarious. It was really quick show, but I had a great time. Thanks Meg!!! On Saturday Ryan woke me up with breakfast in bed and then it was time to get ready for Lily's first Gymboree class. We had a great time there with our friends Cormac, Janell, and Kiley. Lily loved it so we signed her up for more classes. The Andersens came over to babysit Lily so Ryan and I could go out for a birthday dinner. It was a great night out. We were home in time to put Lily to bed and then had cake and treats with Jay and Kellie. Nola and Lily had a ton of fun together. We can't wait to see you guys again. Thanks so much for babysitting!!
On Sunday I took a few hours of me time and got my hair done. I went back to highlights! Ryan and Lily got some quality time in together and then Ryan's family came over for a visit. Poppy and GG just got back from Florida so it's been a very long time since we've seen them and Uncle Jesse came over too.
This is the start of my last week home with Lily so I'm kind of bummed about that. I'm trying to do as much as I can with Lily this week since pretty soon we'll only get to do outings on the weekends. Luckily it will only be 5 months of work before I'm home for summer vacation! I'm already counting down the days. :) I'm looking for an infant swim class for Lily and Daddy to do when he's home with her on Fridays. If anyone knows of any, please let us know!

Playdate with Sydney and Kiley
Today Kiley and Sydney came over with their moms Janell and Nadine for a playdate. Kiley is a few days away from her 6 month birthday and Sydney is 3 days older than Lily. We had a ton of fun and it was nice for the babies to play together and for the mommies to talk. Sydney got to check out the exersaucer for the first time and she loved it as much as Lily does, so now her dad has to go build hers for her. All 3 girls decided to take a nap at the same time. We couldn't have planned it that way if we tried! It was so nice to have a quiet chance to talk to each other. I'm so glad we finally got to get together and we can't wait to see the girls tomorrow for a playdate and lunch at the clubhouse!

Playoffs - EAGLES/giants
On Sunday Ryan, Jesse, and I went to the EAGLES/giants playoff game, and it was AMAZING!! I have to admit, I was a little nervous to go to the game because I wasn't completely sure the Eagles would pull out the W, but I was pleasantly surprised! Lily stayed home with Aunt Amy for the day while we braved the freezing cold to cheer on our teams. Lily supported both teams by wearing her Giants onesie and Eagles socks. I'll be sure to get her an Eagles onesie before the Arizona game this weekend! I realized I didn't have any warm Eagles clothes and unfortunately they do not sell any in the stores here in, so I had to create my own Eagles sweatshirt. I went back to my high school days of iron on t-shirts and bought a huge green sweatshirt to wear over all of my layers. It turned out great! I had a fabulous time cheering on the Birds although the car ride home was a little quiet. It didn't help that when we got to the car someone broke Ryan's side view mirror off and dented the door. :( I'm happy to say everyone has recovered from the highs and lows of the game and Lily and I are looking forward to watching the Birds next weekend. Go Green!

Christmas and New Year's Eve
What a busy time of year! Christmas week started off with our annual Christmas with the Andersens. They came over for dinner and presents on the 23rd and we had a great time, as always! Thanks so much for Lily's cool new outfits and our Penn State Gnome. Hopefully he will bring us some luck in the Rose Bowl today!
On Christmas Eve Lily couldn't wait to open her presents. She was staring at them all day! We met Grandpa Smith and GG for mass and then we went back to the Smith's for dinner and gifts. We had a wonderful time with all of the Smiths, Mastrobuonos, and Schaeffers. Thanks for all of the wonderful presents. Lily LOVES her new activity mat!
Lily was super excited for Santa to come because she did not sleep AT ALL on Christmas Eve. She was up every few hours seeing if it was time to open gifts. When it finally was time, we were very happy to wake up Christmas morning and come down to see what Santa brought. Lily even helped open the gifts. She would grab hold of the wrapping paper and pull back. Very cute! Bailey knew when it was her turn to open gifts. She dove into her stocking while Ryan was trying to pull her treats out. I guess he wasn't moving fast enough for her! We had a nice relaxing morning with a delicious Christmas breakfast before heading to West Chester.
This year we drove to West Chester Christmas afternnoon and stayed for a few days. Lily stayed occupied on her new activity mat while we opened presents. Thanks for all of the wonderful gifts and delicious Christmas dinner! One of the best presents for me was a ticket to the Eagles game that Sunday. Matt, Meghan, a friend of Matt's, and I all went to the game against the Cowboys. It was awesome!!! My first Eagles game at the Linc and it got us into the playoffs. Go Eagles!! Lily was talking nonstop all weekend. She has definitely found her voice. She also found her upper lip while we were there and has started sucking on it a lot. It's kind of strange but cute! Lily also got to meet some more family members. My mom's brother, Jeff, and his family all came for a visit. It was great to see everyone! As always it was wonderful to be home and very busy! We'll be heading back to West Chester in January and I'm already looking forward to it.
When we got back home we had a fantastic visit from Kaleen and Mike, our very good friends from college. It's been about a year and a half since we saw Kaleen and Mike, so we were sooo happy they were coming up. We went out to dinner and while we were Lily woke up and wasn't too happy that she wasn't at home but Aunt Kaleen did a great job calming her down. She's a natural! We hope you guys had a great New Year's Eve in Vegas and hopefully you'll see a win at the Rose Bowl. Mike, good luck with the move out to LA. We promise we'll come visit soon!
For New Year's Eve we went to the Pohlman's. We got to celebrate the new year and Amy's birthday! Amy and Chris made a delicious dinner and homemade birthday cake. Yum! We put Lily to bed there around 8 but she knew it was a party night and she woke herself up right before midnight to come see the ball drop. We got to ring in the new year with best friends and the whole family, even Bailey was there for it! Thanks Pohlmans for a fabulous night.
